Musicians Collaborate For Converse

The Converse century celebration is promoting new music with a collaboration between Pharrell Williams, N.E.R.D, Santogold, and Julian Casablancas (The Strokes). The result? A song called "My Drive Thru", which will be available online for free digital download at starting Tuesday June 10.

The three musicians have also participated in a music video for the popular shoe brand which will air in the summer time. The advertisements for the music and Converse shoes are called "Three Artists, One Song" and will feature the three artists on the drive thru song as well as other emerging musical talent. Other artists include, MGMT, Bradford Cox of Deerhunter, Atlas Sound, YACHT, Kid Sister, Eleanor Friedberger of The Firey Furnaces, Frank Carter of Gallows, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, and Sophie of Care Bears on Fire.
