2008 American Music Awards

Stars flooded the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon for a night of killer performances and awards.

Miley Cyrus perfromed at the event even though it was her 16th birthday, but what better way to show off your age then to drive on stage in a car! The sweet 16 arrived wearing a black and gold mini dress by Marchesa.



Pink arrived at the American Music awards in a sparkly silver dress by Vivienne Westwood.



Christina Aguilera perfromed on stage with red stained lips and platinum hair, but looked elegant upon arrival in her silver dress.



Rihanna won two awards for favorite soul R&B female and Rock and Pop Female. The umbrella singer accepted her awards in a little lacy dress with matching white gloves.




Mariah Carey performed her hit "I Stay in Love", and Beyonce also got on stage for her song "Single ladies".

Christina Aguilera Models Jewelry

Famous jewelry designer, Stephen Webster, has selected new mommy, Christina Aguilera to be the new face of his new jewelry collection. The inspiration for the ads came from the classic Alfred Hitchcock heroine.




"We shot it in August. I got a call from her when she was on her world tour in Korea, and she told me she was pregnant. We’d originally planned to shoot the campaign in October or November, but we decided that the minute she got back from touring would be the best window of opportunity." Stephen Webster. The ads can be seen in magazines this April.

Christina Aguilera Has A Baby Boy

Christina Aguilera and boyfriend Jordan Bratman welcomed a baby boy into the world on Saturday night at 10:05 pm in Los Angeles. The new bundle of joy is named Max Liron Bratman and weighs 6 lbs, 2oz. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Christina Aguilera stripped down to nothing except a leather jacket for the cover of Marie Claire magazine this month to reveal her growing baby bump.





Christina tells the readers that her pregnancy with husband Jordan Bratman was planned, but she never thought that it would happen so soon. Christina went off the pill in order to prepare her body because the couple were planning on trying after her 'Back to Basics' tour. The new mommy to be just never expected it to happen right away.

Christina wants the nude cover photo to show people that despite her 'dirty' sex appeal, pregnancy and mothers can be sexy too.

Christina and Jordan will be expecting their new baby boy in the new year.

Christina Aguilera Has New Perfume

On October 1st, Christina Aguilera released her new fragrance called, 'Simply Christina' in stores. The new perfume has the scents of jasmine, vanilla, black currant tea, and amber all in one simple bottle.

The bottle is covered in black lace and is supposed to represent Christina's curvy body. The bottle also contains a slogan for its user, referring to the black lace and the scent itself, "Sometimes it's all you need to wear". Clever!



The commercial uses old Hollywood glam imagery and Christina herself is done up to look like a 1920's movie star. There are many references to Marylin Monroe which is also the same premise for her current album. She wants the same old Hollywood vibe for her fragrance and for her music.
