Jessica Simpson's New Fragrance

Jessica Simpson's new fragrance "Fancy" will be out in August and we have a sneak peak at the ad campaign. Simpson is covered in pink, with a Brigitte Bardot inspired sensual look.

The scent has notes of pear, apricot nectar, and red fruits. The middle notes are gardenia, jasmine, toasted almond, and carmel. The undertones are sandalwood, vanilla creme and amber crystals.

Kate Moss Ready To Release New Fragrance

Kate Moss is set to release her newest fragrance with Coty called Velvet Hour. The official launch of the fragrance will be in September, but the ad campaign has already been shot by photographer team Mert and Marcus.

Eau de toilette will be available in 100ml for $76.00 or in 50ml for $60.00.

Jennifer Lopez Creates New Fragrance

Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with Coty International again to create a new fragrance called 'Deseo'. The perfume is said to be a creative mix of bamboo leaves, garden yuzu, Sicilian bergamot and freesia. Other scents in the mix are jasmine, pink geranium flower, orange blossom and French mimosa. The underlying scents are amber, oak moss, sensual musks, creamy sandalwood, atlas cedarwood, patchouli and mineral accord. There is a large mix of flowery scents in this one perfume because the singer wanted to create something that smelled like a morning walk in her garden. Look for this 'diamond in the rough' shaped bottle in stores February 2008.

Anne Hathaway The New Face Of Lancome

Lancôme has just announced that Anne Hathaway will be the newest brand ambassador for the cosmetics company. The 25 year old 'Devil Wears Prada' actress will be the face of Lancome's newest women's fragrance which is yet to be named. The fragrance and the print ads will be available in September 2008.

"Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity," Lancôme International president Odile Roujol said in making the announcement. "We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance, to be launched throughout the world in September 2008."

Christina Aguilera Has New Perfume

On October 1st, Christina Aguilera released her new fragrance called, 'Simply Christina' in stores. The new perfume has the scents of jasmine, vanilla, black currant tea, and amber all in one simple bottle.

The bottle is covered in black lace and is supposed to represent Christina's curvy body. The bottle also contains a slogan for its user, referring to the black lace and the scent itself, "Sometimes it's all you need to wear". Clever!



The commercial uses old Hollywood glam imagery and Christina herself is done up to look like a 1920's movie star. There are many references to Marylin Monroe which is also the same premise for her current album. She wants the same old Hollywood vibe for her fragrance and for her music.
